Getting my Idée Fixe in Gö – February 28 2024

After being off the bike for nearly a whole month I continue to rebuild my confidence and indulge my Idée Fixe on this ride.

I like to add a soundtrack to my tours and for this I sang along to Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz, it is said it was written under the influence of his own Idée Fixe.

My recent medical episode means I need prisms lenses to help me see and this does take some getting used to. We rode a mini version of the Gö Strade Bianche which for the most part was dry and almost white. We did stop to sunbathe, and this was fantastic!

The Strade Bianche is held in Tuscany on March 2.

Any connection to a Gallish/Gallic dog is purely coincidental.
